|| Shree Datta Gurupeeth Paradham ||

During fourteen years of spiritual practice, Shri Shri Shri Swami Yogeshwar (Peethadhishwar) had direct visions of 'P. P. Shri Swami Samarth Maharaj', 'Mahadev' and 'Divine Mother Shri Yogeshwari, the wish-fulfilling cow Gayatri Devi'. From this, following the orders of the divine universe, he planned the establishment of Shri Datta Gurupith Paramdham.

At Shri Datta Gurupith, Shri Shri Shri Swami Yogeshwar (Peethadhishwar), the head of the seat, chairperson, has dedicated his life to increasing human awareness through social, cultural, and spiritual services, via the selfless (Niswartha) and expectation-free (Nirapeksha) initiative 'Saakshi and SIDI Platform of Shree Datta Gurupeeth Paramdham'

With the blessings of all divine world, the establishment of Shri Datta Gurupeeth took place on the sacred day of Akshaya Tritiya, 30th April 2025.

Peethadhishwar Background and message

About the Peethadhishwar – Shri Shri Shri Swami Yogeshwar

After serving in the information technology field for 21 years since 1995, Mr. Aswad Modak turned towards spirituality in 2011. He accepted the Kundalini Shaktipat initiation of Shree Datta Sampraday and spent 14 years from 2011 to 2025 following the Shri Datta Guru tradition and engaging in spiritual practice.

While attaining the state of ‘Jeevanmukta’ (liberation in life), Mr. Aswad Modak received divine guidance to establish the ‘Shri Datta Gurupith’. He was given the initiation name 'Shri Shri Shri Swami Yogeshwar' by divine will, and as the Peethadhishwar, he received divine orders to help humanity achieve the purpose and principles established by their Guru, Shri Dattatreya.

On one hand, Mr. Aswad Modak is a worldly person who leads a family life with his parents, wife, and two daughters. On the other hand, the spiritually liberated Peethadhipati, Shri Shri Shri Swami Yogeshwar, is devoted to the service of humanity and engaged in spiritual practices, based on principles mentioned by Shri Maha Guru Dattatreya to achieve the highest divine goal of the Gurupith.

From a spiritual perspective, the material world corresponds to the Ida Nadi (lunar element), and the spiritual world corresponds to the Pingala Nadi (solar element). For self-liberation and to transcend the cycle of birth and death, the practitioner must maintain a balance between the material and spiritual worlds so that the awakened Sushumna Nadi opens and the soul merges with the Supreme Self.

Peethadhishwar Shree Shree Shree Yogeshwar, who got initiated through Kundalini Diksha, follows the Guru tradition of the Shri Dattatreya. He is devoted to the entire positive divine realm. The Peethdhishwar himself is disciple and follower of Shri Mahaguru Dattatreya and Shri Swami Samarth Maharaj.

Shri Dattagurupīṭha is a divine light for all seekers searching for eternal truth. Have faith in the divine realm, and the truth of inner liberation (Moksha) will be revealed. Let us begin the journey to cross the ocean of illusion and experience the divinity within ourselves.

The Purpose of Establishing Shri Datt Gurupith

Shri Maha Guru Dattatreya is called 'Mahaguru' because he is the spiritual guru of all gurus in the Sanatan culture. Shri Mahaguru Dattatreya helps his disciples untangle their karmas from their past, present, and current life, and assists the seeker in attaining self-liberation (moksha) by breaking free from the cycle of birth and death.

The principle taught by Shri Guru Dattatreya is to first free oneself from the bondage of illusion in the world (unraveling the karmic burdens of past and present life) and then, as a liberated being, help other aspiring seekers/human society on the path of self-liberation. 'Shri Shri Shri Swami Yogeshwar' is committed to following this principle taught by his guru 'Shri Dattatreya and Shri Swami Samarth Maharaj'.

As per the divine instructions of Maha Guru Shri Dattatreya and Shri Swami Samarth Maharaj, the head of the seat, Shri Shri Shri Swami Yogeshwar (worldly known as Shri Aswad Gopal Modak), has undertaken the initiative to establish Shri Dattatreya's "Gurupith (divine abode)".

Divine Perspective

Shri Datt Gurupith offers two interrelated approaches in human life to achieve the highest divine goal (attaining self-liberation).

Method 1: Spiritual Practice

Under Shri Datt Gurupith, the 'Sanatan Institute of Divine Intelligence (SIDI)' has been established, where the ancient divine knowledge of spiritual practice will be shared with seekers through the 'Siddha Mahayoga'.

The 'Siddha Mahayoga Spiritual Practice' at Gurupith is a unique blend of the yoga traditions 'Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, and Kriya Yoga', which helps seekers enhance awareness along with their consciousness, purify the soul (Chit Pavan), and guides the individual's soul to unite with supreme soul, thereby attaining liberation and moksha.

Method 2: (Sākshi – Selfless and Expectation-free Service Platform)

Under Shri Datt Gurupith, 'Sākshi' – a social, cultural, and spiritual platform for 'selfless' and 'unconditional' (selfless and expectation-free) service has been established. With 'Sakshi' a sadhak/follower of Shree dattagurupeeth can perform Selfless service towards Society, Own family, and prakriti to get liberated from karmik bondages of his/her past, present and ongoing life (Sanchit, Prarabdha and kriya karma)

Guru Lineage

The heads of the Peeth, initiated through Kundalini Diksha/entry, follow the guru tradition of the Shri Datt Sampradaya and have deep devotion to the entire divine world. The Peeth heads themselves are followers and disciples of Shri Mahaguru Dattatreya and Shri Swami Samarth Maharaj.

Shri Dattguru Peeth is a divine light for all seekers who are in pursuit of eternal truth. Have faith in the divine world, and the truth of inner liberation (moksha) will be revealed. Let us begin the journey of crossing the ocean of illusion and experience the divinity within ourselves.
